List Of Greeks In The 113th Congress
|
No Alpha Delta Pi's either! :(
|
Delta Gamma has 2 sisters serving as Senators and 1 sister serving as a member of the HOR. Our magazine, The ANCHORA, recently highlighted them.

Yay, there is a Chi O on that list! Very interesting list thanks for posting :)

3 Phi Taus in all and all Republicans...

Here is the NPC Tally List (16 Total):
Delta Phi Epsilon - 3 Kappa Kappa Gamma - 3 Delta Gamma - 3 Delta Delta Delta - 2 Pi Beta Phi - 1 Chi Omega - 1 Alpha Omicron Pi - 1 Kappa Alpha Theta - 1 Gamma Phi Beta - 1 |
No AEPhis either. Oh well, we still got one on the Supreme Court. ;)
Naraht, my WAG would be that whoever assembled this list only tallied NPC/NIC/NPHC groups (although one person was listed as belonging to a local). If service and professional orgs were included, I wouldn't be surprised to find some APOs on the list. |
I was not able to confirm the membership of Martha Roby as a Kappa in our directory. From her online bio, she attended NYU before the installation of our chapter there. Although she could have been a member of the local we absorbed.

If there were more Greeks in Congress we would have more compromise, more creative thinking, more action in less time and a desire to work as a team. Let's get some more NPC and NPHC members in Washington!
|
I am extremely proud to be represented in the House by Jan Schakowsky, who is a DPhiE. In fact, it's pretty impressive that DPhiE tops the list with 3 women, given that it's total membership is lower than most of the other NPC's.
