The ugrads/grad schoolers/med schoolers/law schoolers have their own thread, so why can't we workers have our own thread about awesome things that happen at work (promotions, raises, bonuses, or just that your boss said you did something great!)




I'll start: had my first mid-year performance review on Thursday and I'm promotion eligible after just 4 months! Also boss said he's looking to give me our highest performance rating possible!

This happened a couple of months ago, but I won an appeal in the Oklahoma Supreme Court which had a fairly consequential majority opinion.

The best part was that the other side is a deadbeat dad who was trying to weasel out of a post-nuptial child support agreement where he had agreed to pay above the statutorily required child support amount for his disabled children and that the amount would be non-modifiable.

A French Bulldog puppy came into work (veterinary clinic) this morning.:D
All baby animals are cute, but OHMYGOD, this one was especially adorable. I was honestly squealing and might have annoyed my co-workers. I mean, we see awesome pets every day, but this cutie was just unbelievable!
