Loss of a sister at Auburn KD
 

Sorry for crashing your thread, but this news has been all over my Facebook and Twitter today.

Darby O'Brien, an Auburn student and sister of KD, passed today after suffering a brain aneurysm.

I don't have many details outside of that right now, but my thoughts and prayers go out to her family, sisters, friends, and the Auburn community.

Sorry to hear she died. I do want to point out that she had a Ruptured aneurysm, not just a "brain aneurysm" which wouldn't even be noticeable. Condolences to her family and KD sisters. Berry aneurysms are like being struck by lightning. Unless you have family history to alert you to increased risk, they just strike suddenly with little to no warning other than a headache. Poor girl. She was beautiful, and I'm sure very accomplished.

Based on the tone of the rest of the response, I assumed it was a typing issue. Like, she missed the RY after SO.

Same thing happened to a friend of an Alpha Gam..beautiful 20-something!

She was friends with some of the Braves ground crew and they put Becca's initials in the circle where the next batter stands (can't think of the name!).

Deep peace and condolences to the family and friends of this lovely young woman. It seems too often lately that parents are burying their children, and this breaks my heart.
