What are your plans for the holidays?
 

Hey sisters!

So, the holidays are approaching...what are your plans? I am home right now (just got finals out of the way...YAY) and am so happy to be back at home. Mom's famous rice dishes...homemade cookies...great shopping places in my city...lol. The only thing is that I'm so sad that I won't be seeing my sisters for a couple of weeks :(.

Oh, in one week, I'm going to meet my boyfriend's (Sigma Alpha Epsilon) parents! He has been talking about possibly lavaliering me (haha, I heard it from his brothers) and I hope that he will indeed do so this upcoming year!

After we have dinner with his parents, my boyfriend and I are going up to Lake Tahoe (in California) for some skiing! :)

Post soon, I'm hoping to know the GreekChat Thetas better! Have a happy and safe holiday season!

I really hope that you get lavaliered by your SAE boyfriend. Lavaliering is beautiful, isn't it? My sisters just got lavaliered by a Pike and a SigEp, respectively, just 2 weeks ago. The candlelight ceremony was absolutely gorgeous -- tears started coming out of my eyes! I just started dating a Pike, so a lavalier is probably WAY into the future for me. But I'm hoping that you will receive a lavalier from your sweetie soon :).

Holiday plans... well, I too just got back from school and back into beautiful California -- for that, I'm so happy, because I am so sick and tired of snow...I'm planning to just chill at home for awhile and just catch up with my high school buds, do some shopping (I LOVE to shop!), and just hang out with my fam. It feels SO Good to be home, because this semester has been filled with so much stress, school-wise. I also dreadfully miss Spain -- I stayed there this summer and am feeling so nostalgic!

This is a very cute thread, and I'm hoping also to hear from more of our sisters!

I actually really love snow (well sometimes!). But I know what you mean, you can definitely get tired of it sometimes! Which part of Cali are you originally from?

Oh, gosh -I too LOVE LOVE SHopping! I think I'm a shopaholic haha. I can go into a mall and just stay there for a whole day, even. It's so fun whenever I go shopping with my chapter sisters, because some of them are even bigger shopaholics than me!

Well, I better head off to bed...I'm still stuck with the flu and had better get some rest :(...

You sound like a sweetheart -- so glad that you came to Greekchat! It's always wonderful to talk with other Theta sisters :D!

I stayed in Madrid and Barcelona -- gosh, I fell IN LOVE! Spain is absolutely beautiful -- the culture is so different, the food is amazing, the people are warm...gosh I could go on non-stop about it! But, i did miss the States though, and of course, my sisters, so it was a little bit difficult to stay there the whole summer! But now, I'm missing Spain, LOL...

I'm originially from San Francisco, Calif. But, my family just moved to Hillsborough, CA this summer (it's about a 40-minute drive away from SF) and while I do love our new house and our gorgeous neighborhood, I dreadfully miss the city! Hillsborough is really cute, a beautiful little town nestled in curvy hills, lots of privacy, etc. but I do miss the big city and all that it has to offer.

LOL I too am a big shopper. Drop me into the middle of the mall in some foreign country and I won't be at all anxious! LOL. Bring me anywhere where there's lotsa shopping and I'll be in heaven :D. What are your favorite shops? Mine are little boutiques, Nordies, Saks, Neimans, Macys, Banana Republic, and Sephora.

I'm so sorry that you are sick sweetie, get well soon ok!! The flu bug bites, I know, I just had it a few weeks before break and I got my sisters infected too! :o :( Take care and get lots of sleep and fluids.
