LSU pike vice president killed by drunk driver
 

Very sorry that I do not know how to post articles ( yes I am computer dumb).
Last Thursday Miles Liner and his highschool girlfriend were returning home for their schools homecoming pep rally. They had been the 2010 king and queen and were to participate in a skit for the pep rally that night. They were hit head on by a drunk driver who was attemping to pass another truck. His girlfriend was injured but survived. He was on life support for a few days until everything for him to donate his organs could be taken care of.
I did not know these two kids but since they attended school in our parish I teach with many people who did. They say that he was a wonderful young man. He was a jr. majoring in petroleum engineering and vice president of the LSU pikes. I know that many people, his brothers, former high school friends and most especially his family are suffering and wondering why something like this happens to a young man with so much potential. Please keep all of them in your prayer.

He was from St. Mary parish, but the accident happened in Pierre Part which I believe is in Lafourche.

Pierre Part is in Assumption Parrish. He was taken to Thibodaux Regional.
