Would anybody who went through spring rush like to share their story with me?
 

Freshman at Florida State here, and I've made the decision that I will definitely be taking part in sorority recruitment during the spring. I would just like to hear some different experiences that other people have had with spring rush. Thank you!

Do a search. There are a ton of threads on the subject on this forum!

I think what you are searching for is "informal recruitment" "informal rush" "COB" etc. Can anyone recommend other search terms and search strategies? For example, I've read that the use of a google search rather than a search within GC itself may be more fruitful.

I watched my daughter's friend go through spring rush. She said she got multiple bids and didn't respond to any of them, at least not the house my daughter was in. She decided that she would rush in the fall to find "where she was truly meant to be". She got her third choice and dropped out this fall.
She also called my daughter asking if anything she could do to get her back an offer she had in the spring because now she wished she had accepted. It was too late.
So be open to the spring choices...waiting to fall if you have a bid may or may not work.
