I am new to the site and I am looking for the materials that should be used to make greek letters for shirts and coats and whatever else people want. does anyone know what materials are best used??

You can use about any fabric out there, but as a quilter I can tell you the heavier duty the fabric, the easier it is to work with. Anything shiny is especially hard to work with. If you are choosing lighter weight/flimsier fabrics, make sure to use a good interfacing.

DS, you are a quilter? I just started my very first quilting class ever! It is the Nancy Rink "Amish with a Twist" pattern. It should take me about six-eight months to finish. I don't want to rush into things, you know.
