What's the best way to display a crucifix?

I have a gold crucifix (the smaller ones you wear around your neck) that was my fathers and since I don't wear jewelry I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. My father passed away when I was four years old and this is one of the only things that I still have of his so I'd like to display it somehow (frame, shadowbox) but I don't know exactly what would look good. Any ideas from you that have made displays for your badges or rings would be greatly appreciated.

do you have anything else of his- like a tie or hankerchief or something? I have a friend that has an old embroidered hankerchief of her grandfather's in a small shadow type box, and his WW2 Army hat pin is on top of that. I think she had it made at the Great Frame Up.

If you don't have anything, else, you could frame it with a nice picture of him. Any custom frame shop can do that for you.

You can get a display item like you see at Jewelry stores or at craft shows, and put that in a shadow box perhaps with a photo. I've linked just one so you understand what I mean. They come in all shapes and sizes, and also come in black. The velvety ones are quite pretty.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'm going to frame it with a picture of him :)
