Horrifying.. Especially some of the things he said on the phone with police (and apparently the way in which he said it)

Wow, that really is horrifying. My first thought was about that dad... how do you cope with this kind of thing? Tragic.

I wonder if anyone had any idea he was thinking of such things prior to this..

If only he had read about this young man and received some sort of an intervention in his life to thwart this from happening:
