verbs
Hi, I just have a question about Greek verbs, especially Ancient Greek verbs I hope you can help.
Attic Greek had very complex verb inflections. It also had personal pronouns. Did the people use the personal pronouns? Or just the verb form which automatically indicated the person. Do Greeks today use personal pronouns much? Eg English: I come German: Ich komme Spanish: vengo (= yo vengo) English:I go German: Ich gehe Spanish: voy (= yo voy) Spanish does have personal pronouns, but they are often not used. Thanks |
This is a chat room for men and women who are members of greek letter organizations in North America. Sort of like clubs. Few of us actually know much greek, save for the greek alphabet.
