LSU evacuated due to bomb threat

NY Daily News reports

In case anyone forgot, UTexas and North Dakota State were evacuated last week for the same reason.

I saw this earlier today but can't post to GC from work. I think what frightens me about these false bomb threats is that people will start to get lax about them and then one will be real :(

The traffic was a mess today. So far one resident hall has reopened and 2 dining halls will reopen at 6pm CST.

My daughter is soooo aggravated. They will have to make up the days they missed due to Issac and now will probably have to make this up also. Goodbye fall break.

UREC has been cleared as well and will be open from 6:30 to 11 p.m. this evening. Notifications on other campus facilities will be made as appropriate. Keep your travels on campus restricted to these facilities only until further notice.

Pitt dealt with bomb threats all Spring Semester.. over 40 in all. I wonder if this is a copy cat of some sort?

The bomb threats came from a Scottish man in Ireland. So strange.
