Age Counts?
As a PNM next year what would the normal age be for recruitment? Like how old is too old to get into a Sorority?
|
It depends on the school.
How old are you going to be, and what are some of the schools you're looking at? |
Slight lane swerve, but if you want to remain anonymous, you might give your age range within 2-3 years and just describe the schools, the Greek systems, how competitive things are, typical new member class sizes, etc. That'd probably be enough for folks to go on.
|
2-3 years is a lot in college terms. :)
Of course, if she's over 25 or over 35, that's another story. You're right, of course - vagueishness is the best idea. |
Older than 25 but younger than 30. It'll be for a Texas school and I'm a transfer with lots of volunteer hours (if that helps).

I think your username kind of gives it away lol

This recruitment story should be helpful for you to read

Thanks Mevara for the link, unfortunately the story goes untold. Yes, Knight_Shawdow you are correct.
My school is not a huge one like UT, so the membership is more available, but I'm optimistic about getting accepted when I try to rush. |
I gather that you are interested in NPC organizations, correct? Actually, the person who posted that thread is currently pursuing membership in non-NPC organizations. That is the take-away message from that thread re:age.
|
It is partially completed, she hasn't finished posting about COB but she did post completely about formal recruitment.
|
Yes, I'm interested in the NPC but I'm open to one or two Mulit-Cultural Greek groups that have national memberships.

This is my only contribution to the thread. |
