Lavalieres?

I have been with my girlfriend for over three years now and I was really wanting to give he my letters she is a member of Delta Zeta at Ashland University so I know that she would respect the letters the same way that I love and respect mine.

I have heard that there is a ceremony for this is that true?

I just want to make sure that I do it right!

Is there anyone who can give me some advice on this?

Thanks Brothers

There is not a ceremony that I know of. I dated my girlfriend for two years and gave her a lavalier. I did it at Christmas and then gave her a Friendship Badge on New Years (our anniversary).

I would suggest looking into a friendship badge too because she can wear it under her badge at formal events :-)

Great! Thank you...What is the friendship badge? I have never heard of that yet.

WCsweet, Well i can say youve made my day today. I wasnt expecting you to link to the article that i wrote for our little fraternity magazine. Did you enjoy the read?

I loved it! I'm currently getting my post-bac in history so it was all very interesting to me. I didn't know Dick Tracey was a Lambda Chi.

Glad I made your day!

Well not exactly Dick Tracy as i believe he was a fictional spy character, but his creator and the creator of the comic strip Chester Gould was, however, a brother from one of our chapters in Oklahoma.

Im glad you enjoyed the article though, it was neat for me because the information didnt come to me all at once, it seriously took several coincidences and good luck to come up with that article.
