Founders Day ideas??
 

We are currently planning our 30th Anniversary Founder's Day, and I wanted to get some ideas/input for events or functions that other chapters may have used or had success with at their founders days.

Right now, our preliminary schedule is as follows:

Friday: 2 p.m. golf tournament
8 p.m. alumni reception
9 p.m. model initiation

Saturday: formal dinner/lunch banquet

In the past we have had great alumni participation in summer golf tournaments, but mediocre response to Homecoming.

Please let me know what everyone thinks and give me some IDEAS!!

I would suggest strongly that you do not have all of that in one day!

We have our Founders Day and do a Brunch at the house, have a Candidate for Ritual ( Honor Candidate ), we also have a little ritual afterwards, co to one of the local watering holes that Alums all know and hung out at! That night the Dinner and Dance!

It is really a filled up day then!

You have a hook to hang your hat on, THE 30 th Anniv. of your chapter Founding!
oOn Sund. a day of rest, the House Corp. meets to discuss the State Of the Chapter Building.

Dont Press to much in one day or you will lose many of them!

I know while I am not a Pike Brother, I am a Greek Brother and will aide anyway I can!
