SisterFriends?

I am new to GC and have been viewing the previous threads. I am totally new to this and have one quick question, What is a sisterfriend?

The term is not used nearly as often around these parts as it was when I first joined GreekChat, however ...

"Sisterfriend", from what I can recollect, refers to those young ladies who have shown aspirations to be part of any NPHC sorority. Often times, the term merely acknowledges those who are friendly with NPHC sorority members (when they may not be necessarily members themselves).

The term can also refer to members of one NPHC sorority acknowledging a member of yet another NPHC sorority. In that case, I usually refer to them as "sister-sorors".
