OMG!

Thank you for clarifying that Alpha Delta Pi is ADPi. I was confused.

I don't know them, but they needed a 4th roommate and we met on the apartment's roommate assignment page online. They have convinced me that greek life is worth it, although they are not allowed to really talk to me about it. I know that sophomore year is the year that girls live in the house with their sisters, so will I be missing out on that? And if I would just live in the house as a junior instead, would it be weird to be living with all girls that are a year younger than me? I don't want to sound bad, but if I do join, I would probably only want to be in a top tier sorority, either tri-delta, alpha phi, or kappa kappa gamma. But do the top tiers generally not take sophomores? When I was a freshman, a lot of the frat guys in phi kappa psi and the sorority girls in tri-delta told me that I was really attractive and would definitely get one of the top tiers, but is this not the case since I am a sophomore? I have a cousin that was in alpha phi and graduated last year, so would I have a chance there? Other than that, I don't really have any connections or friendships with the top tiers. If anyone has any experience with greek life at U of M, please let me know! Thanks!

Holy shitballs.

I'm trying to decide between these two responses:

"Yes, you should totally rush! Be sure you carry your attitude and preference for 'top tier' only to all of the houses. Everyone will see your specialness and deem you only worthy of a few 'top' houses. Please let us know which group is lucky enough to get a great girl like yourself!"

or:

"Go fuck yourself, troll."

For the love of Mike.

I can't wait to see how this thread turns out.

popcorn - check.
soda - check.

room on the sofa for at least two more.

I'm settling in with some popcorn.

Got the extra butter right here.

I'll bring the drinks!

You should DEFINITELY rush, and go for the top tiers only. All of the other sorority chapters are lower tier, and you were told you are attractive enough for top tier, so if you get invited to lower tier parties, just tell your Rho Chi that you are excused from those.

With this kind of attitude I doubt even the "bottom-tiers" would even consider you.

Move over...

Move over kids on the couch. Oh wait, maybe I will just sit on the floor up against the arms of it so I can jump up and yell and cheer like I do during a Broncos game.

>Passes cups and Sangria...train wreck time!!!

>Passes chips and salsa around...

Hey, kids, I know we like to QFP, but can we maybe edit them to not call out names of the supposedly top-tier groups at U of M?

AZTheta 08-26-2012 11:18 PM

Please pass the napkins; someone put too much butter on the popcorn. It was probably that KD troublemaker WCSweet...:mad::mad:

What she said, but make sure your room mates know that you're ONLY rushing the top tier sororities.

Then, you may want to delete your thread out of embarrassment, and change your user name.
