TeenVogue just put out an article with things to consider when deciding to sign up and go through recruitment at your university:

It hits on a lot of points I considered when deciding to sign up (though in reality my main reason was more along the lines of "Why not?"). And some good advice was given.

HOWEVER, I lost it when they started quoting Alexandra Robbins.

What are your thoughts on it?

Meh....They run this article every 2 - 3 years.

Considering the numbers going through NPC recruitment (based on what has been posted here on GC) I seriously doubt the article will have any negative influence on girls wanting to rush. Yes, I said "that" word. :cool: I miss it too....:(

I actually think it is a pretty good, balanced article. It talks about how there will be a financial commitment, how a sorority is not an instant fix for any difficulties you have transitioning to college life, and how you should keep an open mind when meeting all of the chapters.
