Sad news
 

Sisters-I have just found out that two chapters have been closed - Beta Phi, WVU & Zeta Mu, Towson U. This upsets me so much.....our chapter is struggling & I know that it could have just as easily been us.

Please pray for these women and alum sisters in their respective chapters.

Does anyone know of any other chapters that were closed recently? Sigma Xi would like to get in touch with them to offer our condolences & let them know that we love them!

Ty so much kdgirlie! It means a lot to me to hear that from you. If I'm not mistaken, you are from the ECU chapter? Let me tell you, the former prez and I met your sisters at Excellence Expedition....and we said that you girls put the "AOT" in Kappa D!


Ok, but possible correction to my last post. I heard from a girl at Towson that their KDs aren't shut down. If I have heard wrong info, I apologize sincerely.

i heard we had two chapters close as well but I don't remember which ones

Yes, the chapters BOTH of them closed. It's very sad. However, the Towson chapter should be ashamed of themselves for what they did and how they involved other innocent people.

They deserve to be shut down if you want my opinion.

I think we all need to worry about our own standing and how we as individuals make KD a better organization.

If peolpe want to talk about the closings I would like it if the intrested parties would do so via email and not here.
