Terence Blanchard, "Let's Get Lost." Tasteful trumpet playing and film music. Guest stars include good singers like Dee Dee Bridgewater and Cassandra Wilson.

My favorite jazz purchase this year, and therefore, my nominee:

Joshua Redman- Passages of Time

I'm about to buy that Terence Blanchard CD though w/the guest singers, so I might change my mind!!! :)
