Who gets your pick for NEO SOUL ARTIST of the YEAR?

Now I made this a subdivision because NEO SOUL represented this year like never before and to combine them with R&B or RAP is an injustice IMHO.

Last week, many of us were disenchanted with Billboards results. I also know that in the past I have been dusted and disgusted with the Grammys, American Music, etc.

Because I only get to chose once, I chose Jill Scott. This woman is so gifted and so talented. Music needed her voice, her style, her uplifting of womanhood.
(I'm sure this will be the first of many Jill Scott nominations, ;) )

Maxwell (y'all are going to get sick of me, but I really do think he is the best in every category that he fits into).

Definitely Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild. I just loved both of their cd's so much. I could listen to them all day long. And, I do.
