Trivia

Okay, ladies:
A bunch of other GLO's have trivia threads, and I am jealous. I am therefore starting one. Feel free to post questions; I can't do it all myself.

Who, of the following, would NOT be considered a legacy?

a) My granddaughter
b) My half-sister
c) My step-daughter
d) My niece

I know it is a hard one, but I hope you will at least guess.

LIOB,
Amy

They're all legacies except for the niece.

Correct. Want another?

here's one....

How many active collegiate chapters do we have? And which state has the most # of collegiate chapters? :)

DeltaBetaBaby 12-11-2001 10:11 PM

I believe we have 132 active chapters and 2 colonies. I am going to guess that we have more chapters in Georgia than anywhere else.

These are both guesses though.

ladybug1116 12-11-2001 10:17 PM

You are right about Georgia...I counted a slightly less amount of active chapters. I'll leave it open if anyone else wants to guess :)

Who are the two "Senior Chapter Consultants" traveling this year for Phi Mu?

PM_Mama00 12-13-2001 12:24 AM

How would a step-daughter be a legacy? Just wondering!

Who are the two "Senior Chapter Consultants" traveling this year for Phi Mu?

Umm, Gina DeBlasis and I don't remember the other.

Good to see this board active again :D

New Question

According to Phi Mu lore, which of the three founders took the initiative to get the group together?

ladybug1116 12-13-2001 05:12 PM

I'm going to guess Mary Dupont Lines since she was the first President of the Philomathean Society.

Another question: What year was the badge design that we wear today first introduced?

Good guess! You are correct. I have no idea what year the badge is from, though.

ladybug1116 12-13-2001 11:20 PM

the badge is from 1904...when we actually adopted our Greek letters. We dad have a badge back in 1852 though which was made out of a $20 gold piece and designed by one of the charter members...Sarah Amelia Bardwell Wright
