Is this appropriate attire for Recruitment Week

Since I KNOW that there will be Greek Life representatives floating around during Transfer Orientation, I want to look my best on that day AND once Recruitment officially begins.

I was thinking this outfit for Orientation:

http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/outfit...5&oid=OUT22493

or this one:

http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/outfit...5&oid=OUT21347

And this for the first day of Recuitment Week (Or for Pref, I'm still deciding):

http://www.anntaylor.com/ann/catalog..._1023_KnitBlue

or this:

I'm going through Recruitment at a school in the Mountain West, just to give everyone a point of reference.

Are any of those appropriate?

Thanks

These are both cute. RE option one: Skip the scarf and wear flats instead of wedges. You'll be more comfortable. Personally, I like option two with the coral flats and the floral top better than option one.

This would be perfect for preference, but too dressy for the first day of recruitment.

I'm gonna be a little harsh here, but since you're already in your late twenties, this will make you look old and frumpy whereas the Ann Taylor dress is timeless and classy. Plus this dress is kind of ugly, and the long sleeves will probably be too hot for you.

If you're unsure of what is appropriate for the various rounds of recruitment, try checking your school's Panhellenic website for a guide or pictures of some sort to give you a better idea. What you should wear varies heavily from school to school.

Thank you for the advice. The second Orientation outfit is more suited to me anyway. So, I'll go with that.

I also adored the AT dress.

Ill give Greek Life a call in the morning.

Thanks again!

No problem! It's always best to wear something that you're comfortable in and that represents you rather than something that doesn't fit your personality.

I agree with all the above. Also, I might suggest darker washed jeans than that shown. they tend to have a more polished look especially since the top has lighter colors.

I actually already have a pair of dark wash jeans in my closet that are nice and broken in, but are by no means worn and ratty looking. It's not supposed to be ridiculously warm on Transfer Orientation Day, AFAIK......but with walking all over campus, might as well be comfy than still trying to break in a new pair of jeans. Capris would be better suited to the summer, but they've never suited my build, if you know what I mean.

:D

Thanks again, to both of you!
