Transferring schools
 

My parents are moving to Florida over the summer and I am now transferring to UCF. I am an ADPI at ASU and I was wondering what the process is for transferring to another chapter of your sorority or if that is even possible.

The president of your chapter should be able to tell you the transferring process. I'm sure it's in your fraternity's general manual. Alternately, contact ADPi national office for the required paperwork, etc.

I'm not sure about your sorority's policy, but we had transfer student who got involved right away and was even elected to Executive Board.:)

I think that your current chapter would have to send a recommendation type form saying that you are in good standing in the chapter. At least that's what I believe the KDs do. From there, I'm not sure if the new chapter has to vote on whether to affiliate you or not. Either way.....good luck!
