Loss of a sister
 

Hey ladies, pardon the crash, but I was just reading on Facebook that a sister from your Beta Iota chapter was unfortunately killed in a car accident today. Her name was Lauren Leffler, and she was a student at EIU. I didn't know her personally, but a lot of women in my chapter knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you ladies and her family.

Beta Iota is one of "my" chapters, meaning that I oversee them at a regional level as an Area Coordinator. I just got off the phone with their Chapter Advisor and she said that the women of the chapter are very touched and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support they are receiving from the Greeks at EIU.
