hi, i'm just wondering.. is there a sorority for single mothers? if there isn't can i create one? pls. help.. greeks...:confused:

Why Greek? Why not a support group?

You can create a group and give it Greek letters, but it's NOT going to be what you're looking for. Single mothers have more on their plate than Greek Week, fraternity mixers, and Formals.

If you are still in college it may be possible to participate in recruitment (although since i am neither a single mom or a student at a school with formal recruitment i don't know what your chances of getting a bid are).

if you are out of school and really want to be part of a GLO i believe that Beta Sigma Phi is open to women of all ages and have quite a few community chapters across north america. it is not single mom specific, but im sure there are women involved in the organization that are single moms.

if you are looking to create something new.... i agree with alphafrog. just find a support group.
