Losing Your Charter???
 

Has anyone been in danger of losing their charter or lost it completely? what did you do to recover or not do.

Yep, We were almost in a position of losing our charter which would been one hell of a blow. Our Pres. at the time made a great presentation at International meeting and got voted on by all members and saved it/ I got envolved very deaply and we are still going today. Just celebrated our 35 th yr from local to LXA. You can lose charter for many things, mostly stupidity by the current actives and it is a shame becaus of all of the hard work that people put into it before them If there is anything I hate is to see anyone be kicked off of campus!!!! We all have tuff times but hopefully we will weather the storm and be in business tomarrow!

From the inside sources on this info. Way to get out of ANY trouble with your natl org, is to handle the situation yourselves. They wanna see ya'll (leadership) upset about what ever happened , and that yall are working to fix the situation, and I mean expelling memebers, removing officers, and the like. That comes from a chapter in my state in my org that is the golden chapter of our org. They never get in trouble. Thats how. We implemented it. Works great. But we've never been that close to loosing the charter either.
