The Fall Teke
 

I saw T. Rod's picture in the new Teke. That is kinda cool to put a face with a name.

Just to brag about my chapter in the fall Teke:

On the cover, under the TEKE in big blue letters, go down one inch, you'll see a rather large man in a blue hawaiian shirt. To the right of him is a frater in a maroon shirt and a white undershirt, our current Hegemon. Our new Epi is about an inch to left of him in blue, with our current Prytanis behind him. I still haven't found myself yet in that picture, but I know I'm in that general area.

Also, Frater Jim Totten, a member of our BOA has his picture in there, as well as Frater Gary Lazor, our Alumni Association President, who both recieved awards at Conclave. Both are excellent gentlemen who bought me drinks on my birthday, and that I am honored to know.

Just wanted to puff out the Mu Omega Pride!

Ya know...i need to find out how to get a subscription to The Teke...i'd thought we get it for like 2 years after we've been initiated, but i haven't received one yet, and it's been almost 9 months since our initiation...any ideas?

Um, I do believe that TKE IHQ is supposed to send a bunch of copies to your fraternity house (or your fraternity mailbox if you don't have a house)...

As for alums, they have to pay 10 bucks to get it delivered to their house.

That's what i thought, but apparently we're either not getting any copies, they aren't being distributed (which i'm 99% sure is not the case) or we're only getting like 1 copy. I have seen a copy of the Fall Teke, but i think that was picked up at a diff chapter house. It's kind of upsetting, b/c the only ones we have are from the 80's, which is still cool (there's a pic in one of them of the new fraters and lil sis's here with Buckwheat and Frater Reagan, when we were first initiated back on campus in '80). I've just been hopin to see some newer issues...:(
