lavaliered?
Hi all!
I'm new on here, so I apologize if this isn't the correct place for this thread (and or if there is already a topic on this). My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost two years, and we are both greek. The other day he left a sweatshirt with his letters his letters in my room, and he told me i could wear them when i brought them over to him. Anyway, long story short, when i got to their house he and a couple of his brother were studying and he asked me (and i quote) "would you like to be lavaliered?" I really have no idea what it is, aside from what ive seen on television. We talked about it a little afterwards because i thought it was some sort of pre-engagement thing... and i was kind of confused by the way he asked me. I don't think he really knows what it is either-- he told me one of his brothers brought it up to him when he was talking to me on the phone. I dont go to a very large school and i haven't really heard of this before. Is it some sort of ritual, (and is it different for each sorority?) I was hoping someone could enlighten me? Thanks! (Sorry for the long story!) |

These threads should help you. If not I would suggest using google advanced search or the search function on here. Good luck and congratulations! |
Short answer: Every school/chapter has different traditions here. The people of GreekChat will not have an answer for you.
