I'm New Here
 

Hi! I'm Arcadia, and I'm transferring from a community college to Cal State Fullerton as a Junior for the Fall 2012 semester. I'm hoping to join a sorority when I get to CSUF, so I thought I'd make an account on here and see what's what. As they say, knowledge is power :)

There's a lot here to read, and know that junior standing is different (from what I understand) at California schools than at some other schools, SEC schools in particular. So don't panic as you read some of the threads that sound like you're ridiculous to even CONSIDER rushing as a junior. You have to put them in geographical context.

In general, read a lot and type a little. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask them AFTER you've spent some quality time perusing these threads. Don't ask questions that you already know the answer to, or will argue with if you don't like the answer. And know that we're all rooting for you. Good luck!

It didn't really seem to matter what my class standing was during recruitment, and I'm now a proud member of Delta Zeta Iota Upsilon chapter :)
