Cheating
 

I was watching Girlfriends and i started thinking. Many of us have different opinions on cheating but what really constitutes cheating? Is it sharing a more then friendly hug with an attractive guy everyday or is it that meaningless kiss that you shared with that sexy guy you saw in the club who had those irresistable lips.
Is it going to lunch everyday with a co-worker who you find attractive or just sharing a cup of coffee at Starbuck's with this certain guy who you love to chit chat with? In your opinion, what is cheating? Be honest;)

I think cheating starts when a person conceives the thought of cheating. Friendly hugging and going out to lunch is not cheating, if there are no ulterior motives.

Kissing anyone besides your honey is cheating, too me.

i basically agree w/sports luva. i know that as humans we can sometimes be attracted to someone even if we are in a relationship. however, having an attraction does not mean cheating if u are not thinking of pursuing that attraction (this is just my opinion)

also, the 2 people in a reltionship can define cheating as 2 totally different things. so it is best to sit down and talk that out with your sweetie.

The second ANY part of hers that is supposedly mine or ANY part of mine that is supposedly hers touches or is touched by another person, its in a downward spiral from that point.

Hmmm, I look at it like this.
Cheating (to me) is:
When you have made an emotional and physical commitment toone person (mutual of course) and you go outside that relationship to satisfy your emotional or sexual need by someone else.
Just because I kiss a male (on the cheek) when I say hello or goodbye, or give him a short hug (not too tight and not too much breast--seriously) is cheating. It depends on how well I know the person to even get 'physical'. A hand shake will do so there is no misunderstanding.

Cheating is a subjective term. I think it depends on the bounderies that are set by each individual and what lines they are willing to cross.

I guess it depends on the terms of the relationship. I think beginning a relationship means that there is a general paws off policy, with the exception of hugs and cheek kisses. In my dating days, it always kept things simpler.

Hmmmm...I have been looking at this topic for awhile....Cheating can be defined numerous ways... Some people say cheating is when a man/woman is just "talking" to another individual or joking around with him/her in a flirtatious manner.. I think cheating is when you are being paged by another man/woman, holding hands, meeting up with an individual in private locations...
