Have you ever been in love with someone you couldn't get along with or couldn't stand? What happened in the end?

Yes, we dated for 3.5 years got engaged for a year and broke up a few months before the wedding...

NO

NO. Thought I loved a person, who I really didn't like, respect, or trust. How foolish was that. I snapped out of it real quick. Had to end it, before I caught a case, lol.

What I am about to say is really going to sound off-the-wall but I was involved with someone that I wanted to slap the taste out of his mouth but in the same instance I wanted to be with him. And they say love is not suppose to hurt.

I was in love one time and I lower my standards. That is a soap opera in itself. But I soon realize that it was not happening like that. I think at times we as women lose all of our good sense when we date a man that is good looking. That is JMHO.

Why do y'all have to talk about me:) But seriously, the guy I'm seeing now is wonderful on paper (BA, JD, no kids) and is a real jackass at the same time. Honestly, I can say that I couldn't stand him before we started dating. He's arrogant and loud. He's sensitive and intelligent. And he's got a crazy girlfriend:)

Ok really, the concept of being in love is accepting a person for what/who they are, flaws and all. Key word: Accepting. How can you be in love and not like the person at the same time? Impossible. Perhaps you can love a person who irritates you but you can't be IN love with them.

Of course, you can get irritated when they do certain things but irritated by them as an individual and still be in love with them...Big difference. And, if you think you are IN love with someone that you can't stand....There's something EXTREMELY WRONG with that situation and, more than likely, you are NOT IN love AT ALL.

"And he's got a crazy girlfriend"
