Helping Alpha Chapter

I was just wondering if anyone was going to call or write ( as asked by members of Alpha) to IHQ about saving Alpha. I know it probably might not do any good, and IHQ feels that this is what's best, but it might not hurt. I just feel that they got a raw deal. Does anyone know of any petitions that might have gotten started?

THIS IS HOW WE HELP ALPHA

Here is a forwarded email on how we can help.

Can you send this message below on to every AGD you know...and also to the undergrads and ask them to circulate

Here's the letter I am sending to ask women to write

Ladies,

I have talked some more of our alumnae advisors from Alpha - and I believe it's not over until we say it's over.
1) What is it over when the bombed Pearl Harbor (timely huh?)
2) Has the fat lady sung (no smart comments)
3) Ok, enough stupid analogies...I always get them wrong

I strongly believe that if there is enough response, we may be able to encourage them to at least give us one more semester. To that end, I would like to encourage everyone to write emails or letters to the following international council members expressing your feelings in whatever way possible to you feel is right. Apparently AGD has lost MANY big chapters over the past few years, including Penn State, Berkley, Clemson. It seems as though the culture right now is anti-Greek but I believe the sisterhood values that we fostered still remain relevant and given the time, support (financial, emotional, and physical) we could turn the chapter around.

I have requested to talk directly with the International President and appeal at their regular conference call.

Please send this email and request to everyone you know who is in AGD - from any chapter.
