New Year's resolution's-what are yours?
Mine once again and for the umpteenth time:
1. stop smoking-it is a disgusting habit, but very addictive 2. get into shape-should do #1 first 3. continue to invest so I can retire in 10 years:D |
1.Change my diet/execise habits (or lack there of)
2.Read more 3.Spend more time with my sister and mother 4.Walk with my husband at night/play golf with him when time changes back |
1. of course get into better shape
2. stop smoking (its gross and i need to quit) 3. get my grades up higher the typical boring list of new years resolutions. |
1. get into shape
2. get a girlfriend |
Well, thankfully I achieved many of my goals this semester but here's the stuff for next semester:
1) Get to the rec center much more often 2) Get a 4.0 3) Find a girlfriend, or at least make better contacts with girls that I meet at functions who aren't necessarily pre-med. That way I have an assortment of girls in each house. Variety is good...;) 4) Be chosen as an Honors Ambassador (honors program recruiter), get into Student Alumni Organization, and Nebraska Human Resources Institute. 5) Pick up a cabinet level position with in Beta As I look back at this past semester it's amazing the things I've accomplished. I've become more involved than I ever imagined ( just got elected as External Relations Director of the College of Arts and Sciences Student Advisory Board, I'm the community service director for the Humanities in Medicine Club, in NUMeds - premed club- and a tour guide for the university. I've also done nearly 25 hours of community service) and so I guess the #6 is just to remain involved and make smart decisions on what to keep being involved with and what to drop. |
Mine is the same year after year:
NOT TO MAKE NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS!:D I nevr break mine how about youse guys and gals!;) |
For 2002...
1. Have a rockin' time in Rome (yeah, I can't help gloating). 2. Start being more responsible. I'll be in the real world in a little more than a year! 3. Become even more involved in AXO, possibly lining up a post-graduation gig. 4. Be a better friend to my friends. |
Hey Tom,
I made that resolution (to make no resolutions) way back in high school, and so far, I haven't broken it! |
2002
Not really resolutions mind you,but things I want to accomplish
1)To become greek(don't ask any questions just yet,I'll tell you guys all in good time. :D 2)To get a boyfriend(signed up with a dating service in November) 3)To find a decent paying job that I can enjoy |
Hey, this is the first time I've ever put resolutions in writing -- it makes them seem so official that I could never break them!
1. to eat more healthfully -- I already eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, but not enough, and I need to stop eating so much crap (cookies? what cookies??) 2. to make up my mind about what religion, if any, I am once and for all 3. to work on my novel instead of shopping so much 4. to live my life according to the ideal that doing good is more important than making money 5. to be kind 6. to always remember the good things I did in 2001 -- I worked out more days than not (although not quite always meeting my goal of 6 days a week); I started volunteering for a domestic violence hotline; I started my pursuit of alumna initiation... :) |
