London Olympic

Seems that the organizer wanted Keith Moon to perform at their closing ceremony. One slight little problem, the dude been dead for 34 years.

Quote:

"I emailed back saying Keith now resides in Golders Green crematorium, having lived up to the Who's anthemic line 'I hope I die before I get old'," the band's longtime manager, Bill Curbishley, told the Times. "If they have a round table, some glasses and candles, we might contact him."

If you had told me a week ago that Jordyn Wieber wouldn't be in the All Around, I would have told you you were CRAZY.

Crazy. I guess it just goes to show that the little things (little baubles, steps) matter.
