Interested
Hi I am interested in Alpha Phi Alpha, I am focused in school and stay on top of my studies. I can see that the brothers of Alpha phi Alpha at my school are the same way. However I need to make myself known. A few of them do know me, but not on a personal level, and see me at their events. I want to know if I am doing exactly what I am supposed to do or is there something more. How can I tell if they notice me as being interested vs. just happening to be at the events. Also what can I read to help me become a better candidate for Alpha Phi Alpha. I want to know what my best source of information is (what books, sites, etc.). Thank you and I hope I am not being disrespectful in any way.

How you get to know the brothers more intimately will be up to you and will be dependent on your campus norms. On some campuses, it would be perfectly okay to set up a one-on-one conversation with a member and disclose your interest in the fraternity. On other campuses, members might not even want to meet with people on on one. Continue getting to know the members and you will discover the best way to disclose your interest. |
well thats the thing on my campus you dont really want to approach the fraternity members and tell them directly
