Candle Passing
 

Does SAI have a candle passing song? A sister in my chapter was engaged last semester and I told the chapter about how many other GLOs have a candle passing...I wonder if any other chapter has done this before?

We don't have one that's specifically a candle passing song in our songbook of which I know. You could look for another song that would fit the purpose; I'm not sure what that would be, though.

Interesting. Maybe a redbook song might fit...I should take a look. I wonder if a candle passing has ever happened in the past...

"The Life of an SAI" might work, since it talks about life changes.

Thank you! Last semester we had a sister that got engaged and I thought it would be nice to do a candle passing for her. :)

In my chapter, one girl composed a song that might be perfect. We need to get some of these composers we have to make their songs better known to other sisters! One had us all in tears...

You can send that song your sister wrote in NH and they can see about placing it in the new editions of the red books.
What chapters are ya'll from btw?

I'm from Theta Lambda. The girl just graduated, but she is going to go to grad school for composition. Maybe she had already sent it in.
