Celebrity Apprentice sorority girl

So, on Celebrity Apprentice tonight in the boardroom, the women's team lost and during all the chit chat about who should be fired, singer/actress/model/fashion designer/TV personality Aubrey O'Day (I had never heard of her before this show and do not like her) was "accused" of being the head of a sorority - as if it were a bad thing.

So of course I had to find out if it was true - and it is. So now, I dislike her a little less because she's Greek and apparently not embarassed to say she is.

According to Wikipedia, O'Day attended La Quinta High School in the early 2000s and she later majored in political science and drama at the University of California, Irvine, and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority......O'Day had dropped out of college in order to participate in the competition - the MTV reality show Making the Band 3, founded by Sean "Diddy" Combs - she had been thinking of attending Columbia Law.....there is a lot more about her online....plus I found this photo of her with some AChiO's:

That doesn't say anything about her affiliation.

http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=80478 might be what you wanted to link. Probably not worth the frustrated reply--it's not like this is something that has been talked to death recently. Or at all.

On their first season of Making the Band, she was a lot more down to earth. She was definitely my favorite along with her bff on the show, Aundrea. When they came back the 2nd season she was called out about her personality change. Then it was hinted in their last season that she may have been a reason for the band's breakup. Diddy did NOT like her anymore.

I really liked this show and the girls were talented. Fame definitely got to her head.

ETA: This is all an act for the show. I can't see her actually acting like this now.

I just wanted to punch Tia Carrere in the neck when she made it sound like Aubrey being in a sorority was equal to killing a puppy.

Thanks for telling (or reminding) us! I was curious too when Tia made such an issue out of her being a sorority member.

Although, I have to admit that I hate Aubrey's flaming red hair color. I think she would look much nicer, and would probably get a bit more respect, if she didn't look so 'over the top'.

I don't watch Celeb Apprentice but I do remember when Aubrey's affiliation was discussed on GC.

I am not shocked that being a sorority leader would be given a negative connotation. We have discussed why that happens on GC many times.

I liked Danity Kane. Aubrey was absolutely gorgeous before and during season 1. She got funny looking in season 2 (or whenever the makeup and hair happened) to match the fake drama on Making the Band.

Not to get all off topic but I'm surprised that fame went to her head, as the few songs I have of Danity Kane she isn't the "lead" it was Aundrea and whenever I watched the show she seemed pretty down to earth. But who knows I never really followed Danity Kane or the show, I just caught a few episodes and have 2 songs.
