Hey there:)

I am currently a member of a sorority...but I will be transferring next year...and I just realized that the university that I am transferring to doesn't have my sorority. So I was wondering...am I allowed to join another sorority at that campus?:confused:

If you are a member of an NPC sorority, you may not joing another NPC sorority. You may be able to join a local sorority depending on their bylaws or seek membership in a professional organization.

Have you been initiated into your current sorority or are you still a pledge? If you have not initiated yet, then you would be allowed to join a different sorority. If you have been initiated, then no. You are "in."

Yes Im initiated. I love my sorority...I wish the school I was transferring to had it...but it doesn't :(

Whats the difference between a local sorority and a NPC one?

A local sorority usually only has one chapter.

Oh I knew about those but I didn't know they were just called local sororities.
