History of Eternal Flame

Hello Brothers,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the history of the Eternal Flame. I know what our chapter history states but I would like to know how and why Delta Omega was chosen to be the bearers of the Eternal Flame. I have been trying for years to piece together our rich history and as time goes on it is progressively getting more difficult. Even though I do not think I will complete this monstrosity of a project before I graduate THE University of Houston, I would like to make some sort of dent in my research. Thank you in advance for any information any of you can provide.

Have a great weekend. :)

I think I have some stuff on this, but researching it is going to have to wait until after this weekend, I'm presenting 2 seminars at a sectional conference...

link back...

Unfortunately, what I though was a separate source linked back to the chapter history. Next stop the National History book (1993)
