Phi Sigma Sigma....?
Okie dokie, look at me "just like a lemming" (aka Im following someones lead)
What are your Phi Sigs like?! (and most of you on here do not have Phi Sigs on your campus! :) ) Our chapter is medium for our school... we stay at around 35-45 sisters. We have the nicest house :) IMHO! We ARE the chapter that always does stuff together, and we can all hang out together. (Kirsten, can you believe I can say IM OLD?! Sad, but true!!!!) |
We don't have Phi Sig here at Clemson, or anywhere else in SC (to my knowledge). :(
|
We didn't have a Phi Sig Chapter, but I have some friends who are Phi Sigs from other schools and they are awesome!!!
|
hey phi sig angel! i got to umbc..and we (of course )are the biggest chapter on campus (keep in mind greek life is very small) at 3 away from total! i know somephi sigs at towson university, and they are great too...some are definately snobby...BUT
when you are THE BEST its hard to be HUMBLE! |
I'm a Phi Sig from Boca Raton, FL!!
~I just wanna be a Phi Sigma Sigma, I just wanna wear the sphinx of gold, ba do ba do! If I can't have this, which I know is best, I don't want no pin at all, ba do ba do!~ |
Hey everyone, I am a phi sig with ali, and i agree with her our chapter is beoming very clicky, and most of the traditions that i remember from when i got in are gone for the most part or not cherished as much. But that doesn't make me love my chapter any less!!!! Phi sigs are the best!!!!!!
|
can i say too that the phi sigs at clarion have changed alot and i'm on the out side looking in....
|
When I was a freshman at Binghamton, I rushed Phi Sig COB. Although they weren't for me, several of my friends wound up pledging them. I was friends with about ten of the sisters. From what I recall, Phi Sig seemed to be at or near total 85 every year. This is almost ten years ago.

Stop the negative publicity!
Okay maybe I'm just being bitter b/c I'm old...but please don't post negative things about our chapter online. I'm very tired of looking at it. We don't need negative publicity. If you look at the positive side their are many wonderful things about our chapter. We all have our problems but the world doesn't need to know about it. This is something you need to discuss with a friend. but certainly not online so potential new members. I know personally how rumors fly...and don't want to lose any potential new members who may stumble upon this website...so girls please do us all a favor and don't be writing that our chapter is "cliqueish" online. This really bothers me, coming from a past recruitment counselor. I know these girls are more imformed and we wouldn't want any perceieved info in their head before even meeting the girls!
Thanks, Kirsten |
Phi Sig on my campus was always our big competition during recruitment. I will say that neither Phi Sig or my chapter were huge, but Phi Sig still had a great sisterhood, and even when their numbers got dangerously low, they always could pull out a great rush with quality women and rebound. Also, I know the NPC rep for Phi Sig national and she is AWESOME!! :)

You know Gina D'Amato-Kaufman? (as they called her this summer... ) :) hehe... I love her, shes so cute! I had a great time talking to her about all kinds of things this summer!!!

We dont have a Phi Sigma Sigma at IU.
I thought Phi Sigs was the nickname for Phi Sigma Kappa? |
There are Phi Sig girls and Phi Sig boys. There are also Alpha Sig girls and Alpha Sig boys (Alpha Sigma Alpha and Alpha Sigma Phi).
|
we have Phi Sig here at SUNY Oswego... it's pretty big
|
The Phi Sigs on my campus are our biggest rivals. On an individual basis, many of them are nice but together they're annoying. Last year during Greek Week they started using violence against our players when we were beating them in a basketball game. I do have some friends in Phi Sig though and many of them are nice.
