I have no idea if it is a standard thing to do, but I like the idea of a mock recruitment!

I had never heard of that either. I wonder if it was a full week of recruitment or just one random day, or a preference party. And did the 2 sororities go head to head at the same time?

I'm so excited to share that Alpha Gamma Delta has been invited to recolonize our Delta Epsilon Chapter at UCLA in the Fall of '13.That's right sisters and friends...USC, SDSU and UCLA - here we come!

The way the mock recruitment went was on day one, one sorority hosted two mock convo days parties for the Panhellenic delegates and board, and then made their presentation later that evening. The next day, the other sorority did the same thing (two convo day parties, then a presentation later that night). The parties were restricted to Panhellenic and the mock recruitment teams from the presenting sororities. The presentations were open to the entire USC community and the presenting sorority's alumnae.
