Black History Images

Among the proud and not-so-proud images: http://s3.amazonaws.com/root-slidesh...3_p209-400.jpg http://s3.amazonaws.com/root-slidesh..._Fam-400_1.jpg http://s3.amazonaws.com/root-slidesh...egates-400.jpg http://s3.amazonaws.com/root-slidesh...oker_T-400.jpg W.E.B. DuBois and Booker T. Washington are my play-cousins. :) You see the photo with Alpha's posthumous member Frederick Douglass. African Diasporic/Black History is world history, not just the history of the Americas and definitely not just "history that Black folks need to know about." Black History is not only to be remembered and studied during the shortest month of the year (February). The same applies to the history of other racial and ethnic minority groups. North American history books (and many history books around the world) certainly do not wait until a particular month to study the contributions of white men and whites, in general. |
Does anyone have any thoughts?

This is good shit.
I'm a huge boxing fan, and big on Jack Johnson. I believe he's the greatest boxer of all time. I respect Ali, but he wasn't the first black boxer with that brash personality, Jack Johnson was. Talk about arrogant LOL. Jack Johnson was also supposed to be a passenger on the Titanic, but changed his mind because they wouldn't allow him to purchase a first class ticket. http://www.cyberboxingzone.com/image...son-jack-5.jpg http://cyberboxingzone.com/images/ali-muhammad-22.jpg |
