Letters of Rec
Hey y'all!
I am going to be going through fall RUSH and I am trying to get a letter of rec for each chapter that my campus has. I really want to keep my options open and keep an open mind so I want to focus on getting one for each chapter to show that I don't already have a preset chapter in mind. What is the best way to go about it? I only have one so far because my Aunt was in that particular sorority, but other than that I really dont know tons of Alumna. Adivce? Thanks ladies!!! |
Sweet countrybarbie, go to the Recruitment Forum, and use the Search Feature. There are dozens of threads on how & where to get a rec. You will need them, so I would also suggest that you put packets together (at least one for each sorority) with your resume (activities, honors, class rank, GPA, etc), photo, and a letter of thanks for helping you.
There are a LOT more sorority alumnae out there than you have any idea, but if you don't know someone personally, make sure you're prepared to meet with someone who will write you a rec without knowing you well. Best of luck! |
