International Badge Day - March 5, 2012

"Wear Your Letters on Your Heart"

As International Badge Day is in six weeks, the NPC Chairman is blogging about five NPC member's badges every Monday.

This sucks. I am doing something EVERY YEAR on this day that keeps me from participating.

I probably will not be able to participate this year since I lost my badge in one of my moves.

But you participate much more often than just one day a year; you're pretty good about wearing your badge or some sort of AOII symbol, IIRC. This is just one day for others, but not for you.

:( I'm very sorry to learn that; that is not good. Since you are a great BT supporter, I think we need to hold a fundraiser to replace your badge!

Thanks for the link, WCsweet! I love the idea of blogging about 5 badges each week.

I don't have plans that would preclude me from wearing by badge on March 5th, so I expect I'll be sporting mine.

Thanks, Maria.:o I agree about, Vito's badge, too. Can't be that hard to get a replacement.

How perfect that it falls on the Monday BEFORE my spring break!

I think I am going to unilaterally declare it "Wear Your Badge Week", as I teach at a certain school with an upcoming colonization, and I feel like it is a small way to show my support, but I am generally not there on Mondays.

Like. Still won't help me, but will make it easier for others to participate.

It's gets better because I had two badges. My initation badge was lost when I attempted to send it to my chapter to use for the initiation of my best friend. Envelope got there, but it was empty. My alumni key, which I was rewarded for being selected outstanding junior was the one lost in a move.

I'll try to be conscience about wearing letters that day at least.

That's really sad. The alumni key was really neat.:(

I won't have my new badge by then yet :( I guess I'll wear my Order of Omega badge and the engraved necklace my sister-daughter got me

SWTXBelle 01-31-2012 10:04 PM

I'll wear my badge, and write my annual newspaper column.
