Recruitment Ideas!! Need Help!!
 

I'm apart of a colony for Lambda Chi Alpha. We are on a campus were greek life isnt too popular and our campus average is 35. Currently, we have 25 members and we need to meet the average of 35 or we might get kicked-off campus. We've only been on campus since Fall of 2011 and we need numbers!! I have tried everything as recruitment chair but it seems like nothing is working....please help!

Is this number being dictated by the school or by your national office? Either way it is kind of ridiculous to require all the chapters to meet the average. That kind of thing can change semester to semester.

You've been on campus since last semester and after one recruitment you are at a risk of being kicked off? Something seems odd...

I think his definition of "kicked off" might be, well, off. Their nationals might close the colony, but I doubt that the campus gives a crap how big or small they are.

I'm just shocked the national organization would be already talking about throwing in the towel after one semester of recruitment.

Edit: I'll take a wild guess and say this guy is at JCU. If so, I can see why the group isn't getting members, that school has shed several fraternities in the past 10 years or so and Greek Life on that campus borders on nonexistent. But this shouldn't have been news to the expansion team.

We have 11 seniors right now, and 10 of them are leaving...the campus average is dictated by our school. like i said before, we have 25, and were going to lose 10, so that'll leave us at 15...but the campus average will decrease, but not by that much

Yes, but it's not the campus saying you have to meet that, it's LCA.

i guess what im saying is give me recruitment ideas lol
