I'm Dreaming of a ....
 

Please I need a break from my 6th graders :). Thanksgiving recess went by too fast. I really consider myself blessed and keep trying to convince people not to buy me presents this year. Instead, I have asked that they would donate the money to a charity. However, you can not tell people how to spend their money. I totally agree that Jesus is the reason for the season.

I love that i have an opportunity to spend quality time with my family and friends. since we live about 450 miles apart, i don't see them as often as i would like.

i enjoy NOT being at work, i also (surprisingly) enjoy the beauty of the season...even though snow is not at the top of my list of likes, it is truly a sight when the fresh fallen snow is on the trees...beautiful sight it is...

I will like to reiterate that "Jesus is the reason for the season." Well I will be starting a new job on Monday 12/3, as an elementary school SFA Teacher. I haven't met my students yet, but I am sure that I would miss them dearly over the holiday break. I look forward to spending quality time with my family as well. I will enjoy my Christmas break.

Lastly, I will like to say that I haven't received anything for Christmas in a while, and I am not looking forward to anything. I am thankful everyday for my health. God is good and He continues to bless me daily. I am hoping that it will snow this year. I love the snow. :D :) :D :) :D :) :D :)

I enjoy the fact that people seem to be a little nicer to each other. I enjoy school is out.
I dislike the crowds in the malls and stores. I dislike the commercialism of Christmas.

the day that I DON'T have a report to turn in for school, the day that I graduate (May 2004...it's sooner than it sounds) and the day we ACTUALLY have WINTER weather in December! :cool:

... the day when I can spend christmas day (or any holiday) in the same room with all of my immediate family and not have them talking about each other. :mad:

... the day when I finish with all of the formal schooling that I can handle (Aug 2003).

... the day when I get offered a job that 6 times pays more than my graduate student stipend.

And most importantly, I'm dreaming of the day when I can retire!!!!!! ;)
