Rick Perry Drops Out and Endorses Gingrich
This was just announced one hour ago.
It is now Romney and Gingrich. I think Gingrich will eventually drop out and endorse Romney. I can see a Romney-Gingrich ticket. Quote:

I agree it will be Romney. No way will it be a Romney-Gingrich ticket.
Have you seen some of "noise" going back and forth (well, predominately from Gingrich, since he's playing catch up.)? Maybe Romney-Christie, but no way do I think there will be a Romney-Gingrich ticket. |

And I want to clarify my OP to avoid confusion, Romney and Gingrich are considered the front runners but Ron Paul and Rick Santorum also remain. The Iowa vote counts have Santorum ahead. There is also a "scandal" with the Iowa vote miscounts that a pollster was on CNN discussing. The recount is why Santorum was found to be the "winner." |
Romney and Gingrich. Ewww. This is like the Patriots and Ravens playing this weekend.

I think if Romney wins he will have Huntsman. He could easily get a good ambassadorship, but if that's what he wanted he could have stayed working for President Obama. But if I were in charge and Romney did win, I'd probably target Huntsman for Secretary of State.
I can't imagine Romney and Gingrich. And I wouldn't write off Paul yet, but I think Santorum is over. And I'm really excited to see how Cain/Colbert does on Saturday! |
By the way, you all may be happy to know that Sarah Palin endorsed Gingrich the other day. LOL.

The South Carolina debate was entertaining.
It began with a bang as Newt Gingrich responded to CNN's John King's open marriage question. He received a standing ovation but his campaign people prepared him for that question. As John King said with an annoyed tone during the afterparty (the afterparty with Anderson Cooper, et al was also entertaining), "...I have been doing this for over 20 years...I know what questions to ask and why to ask them...." I like Mitt Romney. I do not like all of his politics and economic viewpoints. I did not like his "maybe" response to submitting his tax returns like his father did. That is why he got BOO'd. LOL. I agree with some of what he says, though. I also find him handsome and sexy. Don't judge me. LOL. I like Romney's response to Gingrich, beginning with "...you were Speaker of the House 4 years...I was in business 25 years...." |
