Has anyone ever networked with local GC members for a social or happy hour? I think it'd be neat to put faces behind some of these aliases.

I think they did in Atlanta once.

We did one in Chicago in 2003.

Not many posters left from that one.

We've tried Charlotte and central NC, but picking a time and place that worked for everyone became impossible.

We had at least 2 in Atlanta but that was some time ago!

This would be fun! I would be down for it.

There was a pretty recent one in Chicago, but I didn't make it out. Maybe like a year ago?

^^Yeah, this sound familiar. I think it was somewhere in the 'burbs.

We had one in DC maybe four winters ago. It was fun.

I think it was in Schaumburg. I missed it, too, but it's hard for me to get out that way on a week night.

We used to have them fairly regularly in NYC, usually when a GCer found his/her way into the city. They were always good times! Also, there were a number of us involved in NYC Panhellenic and we'd run into each other at events.

We had a couple Pittsburgh meetups ages ago. We pretty much are all still in touch on FB and/or real life if not on GC. :)

I see a regular poster pretty often. I also accidentally met another (not so active nowadays) poster.

Anyone else in DC/NoVa that would be interested? I'd be game.
