any tips on being a GPB ?
 

hello, my name is Emma and i attend a university in either NY or MA.

i am going to rush this spring semester. the group of girls seem great.

as you all know, recruitment in the east is VERY different from recruitment in the south.

i have less than a week (WAY less) to get these girls to notice me.

im afraid i wont have enough time for them to notice me or even to get to know me. theyre meeting so many girls in a short amount of time. how can i make myself stand out ?

any advice ?

Don't worry about being "noticed" - concern yourself with presenting your best self and learning about the members of the chapter. I recommend www.suresister.com - get the book if you have time - as a way to look at "packaging" yourself.

Gamma Phi Beta is an incredible organization - but you should look at ALL the chapters at your school. It may be that you fit in better with one of them. The important thing is to find a group with whom you can be yourself with, and with whom you feel a connection. Good luck.
