Recommendation Letters?
 

Hi(: I'm planning on going through sorority recruitment this Fall(: When should I start securing recommendation letters?

I would start sooner rather than later, as soon as you know which college you will be attending, and know which sororities will be on that campus. It can take some time to find someone for each of the sororities. If you don`t know someone for each sorority personally, check out your local Alumnae Panhellenic group, and take the time to meet some of the women for coffee so that they can get to know you and write a letter for you.

Even though you don't know where you are going to school yet, I'd still recommend you ask around to find alumnae of as many NPCs as you can. Then, once you know where you're going, ask the alumnae of the NPCs at your campus to write you a rec. There might be some NPCs that are at all of the schools where you're applying, and there might be some NPCs that are at none of the schools where you are applying.
